Mosaic workshop

Spend a relaxed and creative few hours designing your own unique mosaic artwork in this beginner-friendly workshop. Using a variety of materials such as slate, stone, ceramic tiles, broken china, and glass nuggets, you’ll design and make a beautiful mosaic picture to display in your home.

With class sizes limited to just four people, you’ll receive plenty of individual support in a friendly and welcoming studio setting. It’s important to me that everyone feels confident, encouraged and inspired throughout the session.

No experience is needed, just bring your creativity! If you have any small pieces of china, tiles, or other
materials you’d like to include in your artwork, feel free to bring them along.

What you'll experience

During the workshop, you will:

  • Choose from a wide range of colourful mosaic materials
  • Learn how to cut glass and tile pieces safely
  • Design and arrange your mosaic on a 12 cm × 12 cm wooden board
  • Receive step-by-step guidance throughout the process
  • Finish your piece by placing it into a frame to display your artwork

At the end of the session, you’ll leave with your completed framed mosaic, ready to display.
